Conference details

The conference will be held on the St. Cloud State campus and at the Le St. Germain Suite Hotel in downtown St. Cloud. Details about the hotel can be found here: http://www.lestgermainsuitehotel.com/.

We have reserved a block of rooms for conference attendees at the newly renovated Le St. Germain, which is located at 404 West St. Germain and is within walking distance to campus. The conference rate is $89/night; please mention your attendance at the conference when you make your reservation.


Call for Papers: NPCEBL 2014


On April 4-5, 2014, St. Cloud State University will host the twenty-second annual Northern Plains Conference on Early British Literature in St. Cloud, Minnesota. The organizers invite papers on literary-critical, theoretical, and pedagogical subjects concerning texts written in Britain from the Middle Ages through the early nineteenth century. This conference has traditionally served as a venue for encouraging collaboration and the sharing of works in progress. Professor Rebecca Krug of the University of Minnesota will give the keynote address.

Please send a 250-word abstract for a twenty-minute paper to Glenn Davis (gmdavis at stcloudstate dot edu) by February 3, 2014. Panel proposals are also welcome.
